No fewer than 1,000 residents of Lakowe Community in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos State, have received essential household items and food to cushion the effect of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19)-induced lockdown.

This is at the instance of Mixta Nigeria’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.

The initiative was borne out of the need to ameliorate the sufferings of the residents of the community where a significant number of Mixta Africa’s projects are being executed.

“We are delighted to be able to support our host community with household and food items critical to them at this time. Through the massive support of our partners, we have been able to achieve much more than we originally planned for,” said Mixta Nigeria’s Managing Director, Mr. Kola Ashiru-Balogun.
