The President of the Republic of Senegal, Mr. Macky Sall, visited the Zarzuela Palace along with the Minister and Diplomatic Advisor, Oumar Demba Ba.
Among those who attended the event were the Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Ignacio Ybáñez, and the Spanish Ambassador in the Republic of Senegal, Cristina Díaz Fernández Gil.
Mixta Africa was represented by our CEO, Mr. Daniel Font Bixquert, who was officially invited to the event and to the lunch held by their Royal Highnesses, the King and Queen, at the Royal Palace in Madrid.
During the lunch his Royal Highness the King pointed out that “We are well aware that Senegal is a friend and strategic partner of Spain in East Africa” and added that he placed a great deal of value on “the democratic culture and social model of peaceful cohabitation that has led to Senegal becoming a focal point of stability in a region that is currently facing various conflicts and difficulties but that is also open to the great opportunities available for progress, development and welfare”
