Chairman

Dapo Oshinusi is the Founder, CEO/Managing Director of Mansfield Energy, a leading provider of oil and gas services in West and South Africa. He was President of Reslink for Africa after working with Schlumberger for more than 20 years in Europe, Middle East and Africa. He sits of the board of several companies including Main One Cable Company and Compression and Power Systems Limited. He was Chairman of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Lagos section in 1999-2000. He was the Secretary of Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN), an association committed to the development of the Nigerian content with the transfer of technology to Nigerians in the oil and gas sector.

He attended Government College Ibadan, University of Ibadan and several executive development programs in various Universities that include; Harvard Business School, USA, Georgetown University, USA, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA, University of Tulsa, USA and Heriot-Watt University, Scotland.

Deji Alli is the Chief Executive Officer of Mixta Real Estate Plc, a pan-African real estate development company headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria with subsidiary operations in Morocco, Tunisia, Senegal and Côte d’Ivoire. Prior to this, he served as founding CEO of Asset & Resource Management Holding Company Limited, a role which he stepped down from in July 2015. Deji’s career also spans Prudential Portfolio Managers Limited, UK and the African Development Bank (ADB).

Deji holds a BSc degree in Accounting and a postgraduate degree in Finance from the University of Lagos. He is also an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK. He was conferred the National Honours Award — Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) in 2014 in recognition of his contributions to the Nigerian financial services industry.

Ms. Soula Proxenos holds several independent non-executive directorships and is an adjunct lecturer at Johns Hopkins SAIS and the Carey Business School. She was previously Managing Director of International Housing Solutions (IHS), the South African real estate fund manager focused on the development and management of affordable housing communities.

Ms. Proxenos also held the position of Managing Director, International Housing Finance Services at Fannie Mae, at the time a fortune 10 American company that buys and guarantees mortgages in the United States of America. She previously had global responsibilities at Old Mutual including the transformation of Old Mutual’s business. She brings more than 30 years of financial services experience and holds an MBA from Stellenbosch as well as a BA from Witwatersrand University.

Mr. Seyi Owodunni is a chartered accountant with executive experience spanning telecommunications, technology, financial services, real estate, manufacturing, consumer goods and energy. He has over 28 years’ experience  in Investment Management, Private Equity/ Deal Structuring and Financial Consulting, with expertise in capturing profitable growth opportunities and delivering business results for diverse shareholders.

He held the position of Managing Director/CEO for Emerging Capital Partners, a $2Bn Africa Focused Private Equity Fund Manager and is currently the Chief Executive Officer, Tilion Capital, a boutique advisory firm advising high growth businesses on optimizing financial structures and sourcing equity and debt capital.

He graduated with Honours from Brownstone University and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Benson Ajayi is the CFO of Mixta Africa with over 28 years’ experience in Finance and Consulting. He was the Executive Director, Finance and Acting CEO at Lekki Concession Company (“LCC”) and played a key role in Nigeria’s pioneering PPP infrastructure project.

Benson has worked in various capacities in Michael Stevens, UAC of Nigeria Plc, NCR Nigeria Limited and ARM. He holds a BSc in Geography and an MBA in Financial Management from the Obafemi Awolowo University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

Ugochukwu Ndubuisi is the Executive Director, Legal & Corporate Services of the Mixta Africa Group, a role he assumed in 2020. In this role, he oversees the legal unit, corporate services department and general administration of the Company. Prior to assuming this role, he was Head, Legal and Corporate Services Department of Mixta Real Estate Plc. Prior to this role, he worked as a Senior Counsel in Asset & Resource Management Holding Company Limited.

He holds a First Class Degree in Law from the University of Ibadan and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2007. He also hold a Master’s Degree (Distinction) from the University College London with specialization in the Law of Banking & Finance.

Mrs Enitan Rewane is a founding Partner of Rook & Co., Legal Practitioners, with extensive experience in Corporate Governance, commercial transactions, and Regulatory Compliance. Enitan serves on multiple boards, including educational institutions and is a passionate advocate for tourism and hospitality development in Nigeria.

Larry is now the Executive Chairman of Barracuda Capital Partners Limited and serves on various boards, including Coronation Merchant Bank and LeapAfrica.

Pekun Ozolua is the Head, Risk and Audit of Mixta Africa and has over 28 years’ experience in internal audit and risk management. His experience spans across Barclays Bank, Kensington Group of Companies, Abbey National Bank UK and was the former head of Audit at ARM Group just before taking the role as the Chief Risk Officer for Mixta Africa. He has an MBA from Kingston Business School and is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Tola Akinsulire is an accomplished global real estate executive and commercial strategist with over two decades of leadership experience across Africa, and Europe. Tola brings a wealth of expertise in driving revenue growth, expanding market reach, boosting brand equity, and fostering a results-driven culture. He has spearheaded innovative commercial approaches, market penetration initiatives, and customer-centric transformations that have delivered substantial business outcomes. Before his current role, Tola served as Managing Director for Mixta Africa’s operations in Senegal and Côte d’Ivoire.

He holds an MBA from the Alliance Manchester Business School, UK and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). Tola’s cross-functional expertise spanning investment, development, asset management and proven track record make him an authority on emerging real estate markets with cross-cultural fluency.

Sade Hughes is a seasoned Real Estate professional with over three decades of experience in conceptualizing, designing, planning, developing various residential, commercial, and hospitality assets. Her experiences are buttressed by a broad base of real estate, design and construction education and professional development.

She studied Architecture at the University of Lagos, and is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School, Boston. She holds certificates in Interior Design from the KLC School of Interior Design London; and Hotel Asset Management from the Cornell School of Hospitality Management.

Before joining Mixta Africa, her career experience includes 16 years as an Architect with Design Group Nigeria where she designed and delivered many high-profile projects across Nigeria; followed by an 11-year stint as founding CEO of Briscoe Properties Limited where she led the transformation of a small-scale facility management company into a full-fledged property development and project management company.

Her passion for the industry is evident in the vigor and attention she continues to apply to all matters relating to the built environment.
