Financial Planning Team Lead

Overview

Responsible for providing leadership of the financial planning team

Description

  • Work closely with business units’ leadership to understand strategic objectives and ensure financial plans align with overall business strategy. 
  • Analyze variances between actual performance and budgets/forecasts and provide insights and recommendations to management. 
  • Leverage advanced financial planning and analysis tools to enhance the quality and efficiency of financial plans and reports.
  • Supervise and guide the team members in performing complex financial and operational analysis to support business unit strategic plans, business plans, and budgets.
  • Work closely with business units’ leadership to understand strategic objectives and ensure financial plans align with overall business strategy

Requirements

  • Strong financial planning and analysis skills, with a deep understanding of financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting. 
  • Should have significant experience with integrated financial systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) programs with strong Excel charting and graphics skill set. 
  • Should possess strong communication skills; capable of presenting complex financial information in an easy-to-understand format. 
  • Minimum of 9-10 years relevant experience in Financial Planning, with 2-3 in leadership position. Good negotiation skills
  • Should possess a bachelor’s degree in finance & accounting. 
  • ACCA\CPA/CFA certificate would be preferred or advanced degree in real estate finance. 
  • Interpersonal skills.
